In May 2010, American teenager Jordan Romero became the youngest person ever to reach the summit of Mount Everest. He was just 13 years, 10 months and 10 days old.
Jordan climbed the mountain with his father Paul, step-mother Karen and three Sherpas: Ang Pasang Sherpa, Lama Dawa Sherpa, and Lama Karma Sherpa. Everest was the seventh mountain Jordan climbed in his quest to climb the highest peaks on each of the seven continents of the world. He held a Skype interview from the summit. Below, you can watch an interview with Jordan and see footage from his historic ascent.
